Pupils at City of London Academy Highbury Grove are celebrating their excellent A-Level results today (16/08).

Sixth formers at the Islington school achieved a 98% pass rate and 80% of students received A*- C grades.

City of London Academy Highbury Grove, previously Highbury Grove School, is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school for students aged 11 to 18 teaching both A-levels and BTEC courses.

Aimee Lyall Principal of City of London Academy Highbury Grove said:

“We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students and their A-Level results.“As a school we continue to be academically ambitious for all our students and these A-Level results continue to build on the successes of last year. 

"These results are testament to the successful partnership between the academy, our students and our parents.”

City of London Academy Highbury Grove is part of the City of London Academies Trust, which runs the City of London Corporation’s sole sponsored academies.
