The City of London Corporation welcomes the announcement that Silicon Valley venture capital giant, Andreessen Horowitz, is opening its first international base here in London. 

As an early backer of Facebook, Twitter, Coinbase and Stripe – this expansion is a vote of confidence in London’s innovative tech landscape. 

City of London Corporation Policy Chairman, Chris Hayward, said: 

“This move will provide access to vital capital for UK tech and fintech firms and provide a catalyst for tech and fintech start-ups in the capital and beyond. 

“With the emergence of artificial intelligence and Web3 technology among others, London must provide an exciting ecosystem for the companies of tomorrow to thrive.”
