New Chairman elected to board of Governors

The City of London Corporation has elected Roger Arthur Holden Chadwick as the Chairman of the Board of Governors at The City of London Freemen's School.

Roger Chadwick succeeds Stuart Fraser CBE as the Chairman and has served on the Board of Governors since 2003. He will look after a range of governing functions including the management of the school land and buildings belonging to the City of London Corporation and the appointment of senior management staff.

Speaking after his election, Roger Chadwick said: “I am deeply honoured to be elected as Chairman of Governors at The City of London Freemen’s school. During my Chairmanship I am looking forward to working with the Headmaster and the Board of Governors on the completion of the new CLFS swimming pool and further development of the School Master Plan. Part of my new role will be to oversee decisions on a variety of issues from finance to staff appointments and I look forward to taking on the role as Chairman.”
