That London is 26th out 33 European cities for broadband speeds (Standard, 9th December) is unacceptable. The City has been campaigning for better access to faster broadband for SMEs and residents and has now succeeded in securing the support of BT to connect our businesses and residents to faster broadband in a pilot programme. But this issue isn’t just about the City; it is a London-wide problem and one that must be tackled if we are to compete in the global market.
