Henry Pollard, Chairman of the City of London Corporation’s Police Committee, said: “Commissioner Adrian Leppard QPM has been at heart of the force’s change and modernisation since he arrived in January 2011 and has transformed the way the City of London Police both serves the wider UK and protects our communities here in the Square Mile. We’ll be sorry to lose such a great leader and wish him well in his future endeavour. Retirement is hardly the right word, given the energy and commitment that Adrian Leppard brings to all he does.”
