City of London Corporation response to the latest FTSE figures of Women on Boards

Responding the to the latest Women on Boards FTSE statistics published by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Policy Chairman Mark Boleat, said:

“The progress that the FTSE 100 has made over the past four years improving the number of women in their boardrooms has been particularly promising. However, if we want to maintain our position as the leading global financial centre, we need to make sure that the City and the firms based here are using the widest talent pool available to them. The City is awake to this fact now and the tide has started to turn.”
