City of London Academy Highbury Grove celebrate English and Mathematics GCSE Grade 4 and above

Pupils at City of London Academy Highbury Grove are celebrating their excellent GCSE results today (23/08).

69% achieved both English and Mathematics GCSE at Grade 4 and above (equivalent to A*-C grades).

The City of London Academy Highbury Grove, previously Highbury Grove School, is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school for students aged 11 to 18 teaching both A-levels and BTEC courses.

Clare Verga, Executive Principal, said:

“The GCSE results achieved at the City of London Academy Highbury Grove reflect the transformation the school has made this academic year. Our results are testament to the phenomenal hard work of both students and staff and I am very proud of all involved. My congratulations to all.”

City of London Academy Highbury Grove is part of the City of London Academies Trust, which runs the City of London Corporation’s sole sponsored academies.
