City of London School achieves another outstanding set of GCSE results

City of London School has achieved another outstanding set of GCSE results. 68% of all grades awarded were A*, and 89% A*-A. 64 boys gained 9A* grades or better, with one boy attaining a remarkable 13A* and a further eight boys achieving 12A*.

CLS had no entries this year for subjects using the new 9 to 1 grading scheme.

Acting Head Richard Brookes said: "These results are testament to the boys' diligence, commitment and ambition, and to the dedicated support and guidance from their teachers. I am sure that the boys will go on to achieve further success in the Sixth Form."
